Type in the name of the web site address, and the lookup program will display the person or companies name and email address that originally registered the domain. I have listed three here because the domain you are looking for might not be found by one, but can be found by another. This is particularly true of domains registered at Network Solutions. Try all of them, even if the first one finds the domain you are looking for, and compare the results to make sure they are the same.

Who_IS They pull information directly from the original registrar. This looks like the best one to me, but sometimes the Network Solutions domains cannot be found. That is, it seems that those domain name inquiries from sources other than Network Solutions are rejected. http://www.whois.net/ Network Solutions VeriSign owns this company. They seem to have acquired quite a few domain registrations.
