The site is no longer being used because the school decided to merge FSA with the main school, but the S.T.E.P.S. web site can still be viewed as a good example of work done by T. Davis Consulting, Inc., especially in regards to setting up a secure system that allows members to secure information.

S.T.E.P.S. is a parent teacher organization at First Steps Academy in Alpharetta, GA. They needed a website and asked if T. Davis Consulting, Inc. would help. With a child enrolled at the school, I was glad to volunteer my time. The site needed to have the ability to allow parents to register and receive a password that would allow them to view confidential informatin. And so, www.fsasteps.com was born.
The first time a parent or teacher visits the web site they are prompted to register. The registration process will automatically assign a user name and password and then email that to the parent. The password is then used to log into the site in order to view sensitive information.
